The fitness programs organized in the specialized centers are, in general, an excellent way of maintaining your body shape in a good condition.
The music is quite good, the instructor shows you what you have to do and you exercise with the others. But there are so many fitness machines in there...
How can you know which one of them is fits you and your needs?
Because there are so many possibilities of exercises, starting from aerobic in the water to weight lifting programs, it is a real challenge to establish the structure that best fits your body, and why not, your personality.
The important thing is to make sure that the exercises program is exactly for your needs, and, in the same time, various, so you will not risk the appearance of routine.
Even if there is no precise recipe for your fitness exercise, there are 3 important
things that shouldn't be missing from it:
- aerobic exercises:
it increases the level or oxygen from your organism and prevents the appearance of some affections such as diabetes, osteoporosis, etc
- muscle tone up exercises
- stretching:
helps preventing accidents and increases the amplitude of movements
Advices for a good fitness program
This is a 6 steps strategy, which will help you to know yourself better and to know what kind of exercises you need.
01.Define your objectives: Why do you want to take this fitness program? To lose some extra pounds or to get ready for the ski session? On each of these cases, the training will have to be a particular one, considering the length of the program and the intensity of it.
02.Good parts and bad parts Since no one is perfect, you do have your own weaknesses: you don't have such a strong musculature, you don't resist for a long time doing physical exercises, some muscle groups are less toned up. What you have to do is to identify those negative aspects and to work for decreasing them.
03.What you like and what you don't like The fitness program should be on a regular basis, al least 3-4 times a week, so it's essentially that is composed from exercises that you like. This way you will exercise happily, and you will not abandon them.
04. The antecedents are an essential factor If you have been practicing before, you will be able to work more intensely in a shorter period of time, even if it's been a while since you last went to a gym.
05.The gym or at home? This is a matter that each one decides, considering it's own preferences.
Both have their advantages and disadvantages; for example, if you go to a gym, you'll get to work with a wide range of fitness machines and the other people around you could increase your appetite. On the other hand, lack of time might be a problem, so you will be tempted to create a gym at your own apartment.
06.The last step: choose the exercies If you have done the above steps, now you should know yourself a little bit better so you know now what elements your fitness program should contain.
